Alexander Technique International Annual General Meeting 2008 Lugano, Switzerland

Theme : "Connecting to the World AT Community"

Days/Times : The AGM will begin at mid-day on Friday*, 8/8 and conclude at mid-day on Sunday, 8/10, at which time registration/check-in for the Congress will begin (more specific details on times will be forthcoming).

*Pre-AGM activities such as Committee Meetings, and unofficial AT Exchanges will begin on Thursday, 8/7; please come and join in the AGM pre-day!

Banquet/Keynote Speaker/Awards : Michael Frederick will serve as our Keynote Speaker this year. There will be a Banquet on Friday evening which will include our Keynote Speech and Awards ceremony. If you choose to attend the Banquet, there is a separate fee and pre-registration as it is a catered , optional event . Stay tuned for more information about registration and fee for the Banquet.

***Please note that pre-registration for the Banquet is necessary as it is a catered event (in other words you cannot register for the event upon arrival in Lugano).***

Meals : All meals will be "on your own" as there is no meal plan for this AGM (please refer to the above information about the Banquet with regards to the Banquet option for Friday evening).

Fun stuff : We are scheduling AT exchange time for each day of the Congress - yay! Because of the condensed (but exciting) time-frame for this year's AGM, our Opening and Closing Circles will be interactive and dynamic, and we expect to offer one fun and enlightening workshop on Saturday.
